Quality Management System

Parker Bayside's quality journey started with traditional quality control and progressed through quality assurance to ISO 9000. In the year 2001 Parker Bayside redefined its approach to quality management and implemented ISO 9000 series of standards that guide Parker Bayside performance of specified requirements in the areas of design and development, production and service. Parker bayside strongly believes that ISO 9000 provides a framework for a well-organized Quality Management System, creates satisfied customers and helps continually improve.

To sustain Parker Bayside Quality at the highest level:
  • We measure performance of our suppliers and take action every time supplier's performance does not meet our standards
  • We evaluate our Quality System to assure the system is driving improvement
  • We provide training and development opportunities for employees and distributors
  • We capture and use data to measure Parker Bayside performance and to drive timely decisions
  • We measure customer satisfaction by responding quickly to customer needs and conducting surveys
  • Executive Management leadership actively supports our quality process

Parker Bayside Quality Goals and Objectives are set each year by senior management as part of an annual planning process. Overall Parker Bayside objectives are supported by departmental goals. Quality objectives are determined by considering historical data, customer feedback information and continual improvement initiatives. Parker Bayside performance against these objectives is reviewed regularly. Parker Bayside top management reviews the Quality System on our quarterly Management Reviews to ensure the suitability and effectiveness in satisfying the requirements of the quality management system and stated quality policy and objectives.

To ensure customer satisfaction we:
  • provide products that meet or exceed industry standards
  • design and build products with customer in mind
  • continually improve the quality of all our products
  • continually improve manufacturing processes

Parker Bayside collects, monitors and analyzes data from across company and customers to continually improve our processes and products. Information is collected in many areas across the company including: Supplier Performance, New Product Development, Manufacturing processes, cycle times, SPD (standard production per day) rates, audits, delivery, product failures, customer complaints, customer satisfaction surveys.
Data drives our business decision making and is used to monitor trends, prioritize issues and confirm the effectiveness of preventive and corrective actions and continual improvement programs. At Parker Bayside we utilize state-of-the-art internet deployed Quality Information Systems to gather, monitor, analyze and share information throughout the company branches and also with suppliers and customers.
Relevant information is shared with suppliers and customers through Supplier Secure Site which lets suppliers know their orders and how they are performing from a quality and on-time delivery stand point and Partner Site system which allows customers to review information on their ordered products.

Information drives our corrective action processes. Lessons from the past are turned into knowledge and incorporated in new product designs, redesigns, process controls, product specifications and standard operating procedures.
Parker Bayside has completely climate controlled facility, all parts and products are measured using CMM machines to provide accurate measurement and real-time inspection results to verify the consistency and quality of our products. 100% final inspection is performed to ensure that Parker Bayside products quality is maintained at the highest possible level.
At Parker Bayside we measure quality throughout the process but the most valuable measure comes from our customers. Customer feedback is obtained through the Customer Satisfaction Survey. The survey is analyzed, the results are shared across the company and used to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
