Results are for initial sizing and comparison only.
Velocity
Maximum velocity is calculated from the selected bus voltage and motor voltage constant, with a limit of 7 m/s.
- Mechanical limits, encoder resolution, controller input frequency, and motion profiles may reduce the usable velocity.
Wiring
Thermistor and single-cable wiring options are also available and do not affect performance. See the catalog.
Motor performance
Performance depends on operating conditions and thermal limits. Use the Parker Motion Sizer software to evaluate motor selection for a specific application.
- Force and current ratings are based on maximum coil temperatures with 25°C ambient temperature at standard atmosphere pressure.
- Mechanical friction and the motion profile affect the force delivered. Consider bearings, cables, velocity, acceleration, and deceleration.
Selection guidance
- Force margin uses the motor's technical force specifications and the maximum required force.
- Track recommendations take into account the motor's coil length to ensure the total stroke length specified can be obtained.
